I’m a professional tile installer and ordered the starfish drain for a customer. I got the drain in the mail and was surprised how heavy it was. It’s cut from a solid piece of stainless steel. Coating looked very durable like it was powder coated. I don’t know if it was. Customer was extremely happy. Very nice addition to the mosaic shower pan.

I was sold on the Schluter drain system for my new shower but I was super disappointed in the drain cover that came with the system. The drain cover size is unique to Schluter so I couldn’t find a replacement anywhere. I was thrilled to find Designer Drains. The drain cover they made fit perfectly and it looks amazing.
